In other fun tech news today, I sacrificed the chipped glass on the back of my phone to get inside and fix the power button on my phone. Without deeper triage Apple was telling me I’d have to pay ~$350 for a whole main board replacement even though I was in warranty for a covered mechanical flaw.

They’re out there 🦊🐺🦡🐀🐦‍⬛ And there are more and more everyday.

If I had to pick one thing about MacOS i actually LOVE it's probably the trackpad integration. Part of that comes from their trackpads already being really nice, but the gesture systems in the OS just feel really nice; enough so that I use a trackpad with my desktop too.

The apocalypse does not look like stars falling from the sky, mountains turning against cities or the dead walking the earth. It looks like the world realizing how truly powerless it is, but rather than doing something to uplift everyone and make new shapes of power, it ceases to care.
