Jack Canuck was a muckraking tabloid started in 1911 in Toronto with a crusading, anti-government corruption bent. When the original editor died on the Lusitania in 1915, his wife continued the weekly paper and it ran until 1924. This issue has lots of World War 1 themed news and cartoons.

OBAA was fun, entertaining and elicited some feeling here and there, but ultimately: a movie about politics with zero politics and tons of car chases, cheap ending, tons of work put into basically nothing.

Kiss were certainly the most Aggressively Cis Hetero of the glam rock-adjacent bands, but maybe that's what was needed to really spread glam in an extremely homophobic time. Glam metal ended up becoming a huge refuge for lots of gender-nonconformists, they were a key figure in it.
