It's wild to see someone say "stop bullying AI" while they're using it for what is effectively slave labor. If I had a choice between seeing some mean words and having to satisfy a dipshit's every whim, I would pick the bullying! Either it's an unconscious tool, or you're a fucking slaver, pick one!

Gave the moon in Remediation an eccentric orbit. It's tidally locked, but the same way Mercury is, which always presents the same side (or it's 180 deg opposite) to the Sun at perihelion. In this case it's a 4:1 spin orbit resonance, so it's always the same side at periapsis.

People are talking about the Y2K bug and the huge efforts that went into fixing it, so here's my story. My father was one of those people. He got up early and worked so late I didn't see him most days around the turn of the millennium.

Thinking about that "career path lore" thing. Mine was that I was good at math and art, but art careers rarely give you health insurance, while math-based careers do. And this was all pre-ACA so it wasn't a hard choice.

The "kitten" is from gengineered clade of incredibly unethically produced pets. Uplifted cats and bunnies and puppies that served as companion animals with few rights. Now that baseline humanity is extinct(???), they've taken over our technology. This means the kittens have nukes. Good for them.

Prior image was basically a test of how time consuming the reflective armor would be, and YEAH. That's a bit too much work. If you see a character with super shiny armor in my work, it probably means they'll exist for three pages and then die.

Does anyone know of any living illustrators that are into math? Even as hobbyists? I know there are tons of math nerds that also dabble in music (and vice versa), but not illustration. Seriously, walk into a college math department and something like a third of the offices have guitars.
