One thing I’ve taken away from the WoW short stories is that I really love how seriously they take them. Like, divorced from conversations about the actual quality of the writing, the stories are given a lot of respect. In particular, compared to XIV’s, I love that the authors are credited.

I know they're extremely cheesy, but I really like the arcantina weeklies as a newer player. A lot of the older storylines feel intimidating/impenetrable, but 'here are some guys who have feelings about what happened' makes for a really effective point of entry.

I wish that the story drew more parallels between Moira and Anduin, since Moira ends up on both sides of a kidnapping that ends with a furious father doing/almost doing something that he will regret forever. Anduin saved her from Varian the way she couldn't save Dagran from Magni.

Sadly this is the most normal anybody gets about the Purge of Dalaran in this book.
