desperation, honestly. it was never clem’s desire, they just fled dalmasca, landed at vesper’s bay, and struggled to find work anywhere in ul’dah of thanalan. their story really is a series of unfortunate events, but they begin to grow to love it, and accept their duty in their story.

sometimes i think about how passive i have become (unless pushed to the brink and then i lose my shit), compared to how angry and traumatised i was as a child. ready to fight anyone and anything, even if they were bigger and stronger. sometimes i bemoan my passivity but it is better for me.

had to delete the post on family in hospital bc why tf was it reposted by a complete random and had people entirely out of the final fantasy space idk interacting with it i know this is a public space but that was uncomfortable

my obsession with ala mhigo and my oc being dalmascan… i truly Yearn for the Sand

to nobody’s surprise, gyr abania. the diversity of the region. from colourful trees and flora close to the border with the black shroud, to reaching closer to ala mhigo with an arid desert-like geography with salt lakes. i loved that diversity, but i also love deserts and salt lakes felt like home.

parsing out clem’s backstory. but the regret of abandoning their home and people will be a core theme, with the added horror of becoming eorzea’s saviour being thrust upon them. their journey to accepting that, and etc.

i just love brown eyes. there was a sorta concept of standard stock hyur who isn’t imposing and blends in well to the hair and eye colour combo too, i suppose. that they wouldn’t be super identifiable, and also cause shock that this very normal 5’3” hyur is the Warrior of Light ??????
