As of this morning, I’m down to 253lbs (115kg). That’s 60lbs (27kg) lost since the end of February. 20lbs (9kg) since SGDQ. 1/5 of my starting weight. By volume, there’s about 7.5gal (28L, 1 sq.ft.) less of me. Feels good. Still going strong. Oh, and I got a new flag for my place. 💙

I've seen this news and headline comes across my feed a couple of times today, and I don't like it. I think it's inaccurate in a way that's misleading, and creates a false sense of victory where none exists. Lemme explain. And fair warning, I'm not an economist, so grain of salt as usual. <thread>
