Not a sports guy, but I know "the Mets"=losing. When they were in the playoffs a couple years ago, I saw them on TV, saw "NY" on the uniforms, and thought it must be the Yankees. But there were no pinstripes! The Yankees changing uniforms felt likelier to me than the Mets being in the playoffs.

In the work chat someone asked if anyone had seen PROJECT HAIL MARY. I said that I had and it was pretty good, and someone else came in hot with "No, it was terrible," and everyone else bullied him, including people who hadn't seen it. So I think it's THAT kind of hit.
