I adore spending relaxed time with my young adult child. They have a lot of knowledge in that head of theirs and are super happy to share that knowledge when I ask ‘silly’ questions about linguistics, geography, or politics.

This would’ve been delicious, regardless, but what made it even more special and yum is that my two babies had various kinds of input into the meal. My two kids don’t get to hang out together very often anymore, so to have both of them together and to share meals with them makes me very happy. 🥰

My younger one made fresh bread for us, and after we foraged in the garden for herbs and tomatoes, my older one suggested bruschetta with the home made bread. OMG, most delicious breakfast!

As always, the truly interesting thing about LLMs is how EAGER many people are to accept a very rough, very poor imitation of a personality as real.

Worked in occupational safety until recently. Asked an LLM to select respirator cartridges for different toxic vapors. It got it right about 90% of the time - which means it would have poisoned workers 1 time in 10. In any field where you have to be right every time, LLM/AI is worse than useless.

Perimenopause has caused dizziness for me in the past, and that’s ramping up a bit lately. Nothing that’s even close to debilitating, thankfully. But it’s annoying.

Possibly because of perimenopause, I’ve had the weirdest dreams every night. My memory of them usually dissipates pretty fast, as dreams do, but during the day, I have flashes of them that are so vague and imperceptible that I don’t know what the flash was about, only that it was from my dream.
