Why didnβt I include any good men in my new feminist revenge thriller? Why is it NOTHING like the movie it takes its name from? Iβve rambled about the above and some of the lovely things people have said about WHEN SALLY KILLED HARRY in my latest substack post.

Don't be jealous, everyone, but I'm now in possession of
@holly.bsky.social
59 MINUTES (not out until Sept 2025) and I am SOOOOO excited to read it. I knew, as soon as she told me the premise, that this was going to be a big hit. The cover alone is just πππ

He remains the oldest bookseller in Rabat after more than 43 years in the same location. When asked about leaving his books unattended outside, where they could potentially be stolen, he responded that those who can't read don't steal books, and those who can, aren't thieves.

An absolutely stunningly beautiful book both in the physical sense and the written words. It really was a joy to read. The creatures and the world the author creates is so well descriptive it makes it so much more easier to envisage which is fantastic for the younger reader but can be read by all.

MY REVIEW As I read the story, it was clear to me that Brian had done his research, which added to the story's authenticity. Loved the camaraderie between the team, it's clear that everyone had their part to play, in solving the case. All in all a fantastic read.

One of the reasons why I wrote Leave No Trace, book 2 in the Kat and Lock series, is that I wanted to show how a grieving Kat struggles at Xmas. Whilst trying to catch the Coventry Crucifier, she also grapples with whether to put the tree up, and what to do for Christmas. Grief never goes. π
