Violence against women and children is a national crisis. It deserves national leadership. The PM says his government is doing âeverythingâ, yet frontline services remain under-resourced and femicide remains a national crisis.

Fantastic news. Housing forms that have already been consulted on in detail when the area gets upzoned should not be subject to a further drawn out process by the local vetocracy whose only goal is delay. Endless consultation processes only get in the way of housing we desperately need.

The 'start up sector' narrative is so fucking stupid. The changes to CGT aren't going to touch most Start Ups (that die) and for those that do.... it's a reduced CGT anyway. You can't run a FUD campaign when the policy is already announced.

Sure, I support the idea of nuclear energy. It's one of the reasons that France has such a low carbon intensity economy for example. But it's not 'affordable' and the timescales involved and continuing decreasing costs of renewables make it a dumb idea in Australia. Renewables have won.
