Mmmm. Been busy as hell today but hey, I got one of my longstanding to do projects done which was to add an LED base to the Cube’s new chassis. Printed it in clear PETG so it looks pretty cool.

Yesterday we visited Green Mountain Falls, CO to visit the kinetic sculpture Off the Beaten Path by Patrick Shearn. I wasn’t ready for just how dynamic it was even in the slightest breeze. Reminds me of a murmuration of starlings. Incredible artwork. It’ll only be up through October 19th.

In the way BlueSCSI rescues old computers with failed hard drives, I wish there were a universal thing that could save old laptops by replacing their screens with modern ones that are more power efficient with better backlighting. Like RGBtoHDMI but with LVDS and whatever laptops used before that.
