My weekend project was trying out #PicoIDE on my Amiga 1200. It mostly works, just needs a few tweaks. Thanks to the Amiga community who knows this machine way better than I do!

Well, as you can see, it booted my image file from the BlueSCSI. I've never been happier to see a Windows splash screen 😂

Disk Jockey for Windows has been updated! Version 1.6 adds support for the Snow emulator and lets you inject HFS and ProDOS partitions from other Mac disk images into your own (you're no longer limited to simple .img or .image files).

Both of these computers have been sitting around since I got them as part of a bundle and I usually use my LC 575. Installed MacBatt and BlueSCSI (using my 575 drives images lol) and they both work perfectly! Now the real question is what should I do with the both of them. Besides a cleaning.

In the way BlueSCSI rescues old computers with failed hard drives, I wish there were a universal thing that could save old laptops by replacing their screens with modern ones that are more power efficient with better backlighting. Like RGBtoHDMI but with LVDS and whatever laptops used before that.

#Macintosh SE/30 ready to go. Clean with #BlueSCSI, #retrobrite, and recap. Used the brush on technique with SalonCare 30 Volume Creme Developer. Requires brushing a bit more on every 15 minutes to prevent streaking for about 90 minutes in the sun.

Played with the new Macintosh emulator snow a bit more and have it emulating the @bluescsi.com Toolbox API! Can transfer files back and forth. Logo resource isn’t loading for some reason but functions!

As more and more old SCSI hard drives start to fail, projects like BlueSCSI become more and more important. Both to save the contents of, and/or replace dying drives, and also to allow us to backup and take the load off working drives so we can preserve them for the future.

AHH, the LC III+ is all deep cleaned, dried, looking and working great! I've added an SD card extender on a flexible flat cable for the BlueSCSI, so I can access it at the back.

User came on Discord today complaining how hard it was to configure RAW mode on BlueSCSI - they were right! So I automated it all. Seems samplers users like the RAW partitioned SD workflow instead of images. This also allows you to pop in a SCSI2SD card into your BlueSCSI for a easy upgrade.

Well shoot. I've only gone and got the Torch Triple X to boot a proper OpenTop session. 😁🎆 Took a disk image, named it HD50.hda on the BlueSCSI, used the toolkit to open the drive image, reinstalled Caretaker on it then renamed it to HD00.hda and ta-daaa! #torchtriplex

I just setup a Mac OS System 7 hd image in Basilisk II, mainly to get StuffIt installed and copy over the BlueSCSI toolbox. I'm ready to test my BlueSCSI V2 in my Mac LC III (Performa 450). Let's see if it works!

Look Ma! No OMTI! Finally got around to the non-rechargable battery with a diode thing. I only had a four AA holder so printed a dummy and added a bit of wire so I get 4.8 volts out. Works a treat. 😁 Can almost see me getting this back into its case soon. 🎉 #torchxxx
