Just been to Euan Uglow exhibition at Milton Keynes gallery - such a great venue & some brilliant exhibitions. Enjoyable but came away feeling that he enjoyed measuring (literally) women, often in v passive poses - but he *loved* pears.

Weeks after the 1997 landslide Mandelson and flunkies turned up at the opening of a Martin Rowson exhibition at Iain Dale's old bookshop - and Martin did a truly vicious caricature of him as he was standing right there to give to a lady who told him she loved his work but couldn't afford a cartoon.
