I’ll never forget what I heard from these refugees, and from Action Against Hunger and UN workers trying to help them. This war against civilians must end. 4/4

It was shocking to see first-hand the scale of Sudan’s war on civilians, in Chad. The mainly women and children in Adré have suffered appallingly - and the international response is under massive strain. 1/4

It’s been all over the news - over 1 million 16-24s are not in education, employment, or training. Labour’s investing £2.5 billion to offer training, work experience, apprenticeships, and jobs to young people out of work. 1/2

It was such a privilege to attend the opening of the 'community becomes home' exhibition at the Museum of Oxford. The moving displays detail how hard the Oxford Hindu Temple and Community Centre team have worked to secure their temple, which is now almost there! Well done to all involved.

We must work with reliable partners like the EU on digital rules. And we must also reassess the voluntary approach to AI regulation. We lack accountability for models which will have a huge impact on us all - for good or for ill.

It was great to visit the Blackbird Leys Boxing Club recently. This community club does a huge amount to support local youngsters. It deserves a bright future. I'm happy to support the Club's call for stability at the stadium, so they can build on the investment the Club has already secured.

One year on from the Bicester Motion tragedy, we remember the brave firefighters Martyn Sadler and Jennie Logan, as well as David Chester, who lost their lives. That day as every day, firefighters ran towards danger to keep others safe.
