Farage has been a major figure in national politics for twenty years. Can I ask why it’s taken until 2026 to “scratch the surface”?

They’re going to storm Kharg Island, it’ll be an amazing invasion. And then they’re going to dig holes, beautiful big holes, and they’re going to sit in them more and more, and people are saying they’ll definitely survive being relentlessly bombarded

A racist, genocide supporting, benefits-slashing, Trump-appeasing, freebie-taking, nonce-excusing, authoritarian, transphobic chronic liar? Yep, you are right, we do hate him for who he is.

"Maduro is a brutal authoritarian dictator," I wisely intone, as the corrupt demented paedophile US President violating Constitutional Law while operating a gestapo and concentration camps illegally arrests a foreign leader on charges which read like they were written on a paper placemat in crayon.

I keep forgetting to say - on the blog I wrote about being called a contrarian for doing history, why misunderstandings of the "Dark Ages" ignore materialist circumstances and also just, you know, any history at all whatsoever.

Really struggle with the idea that recognising Palestine is being treated like a way to try and moderate Israel's conduct - the diplomatic equivalent of a threat to send a naughty child to bed early if they don't behave properly - rather than the inalienable right of an entire nation of people.

It should go without saying, but politicians rushing to do PR visits with wanted genocidaires *while they are still committing the genocide* is an order of magnitude more extreme and hateful than e.g. a certain recently proscribed direct action group have done. It is apeshit stuff!

You're probably going to be hearing a lot about this weekend's mad finish in the National League South over the next couple of days, so here's an attempt to explain what the bloody hell is going on there.

If cutting benefits for the poor and disabled is the tough and difficult choice then one can only wonder how it is that, decade after decade, Britain has been blessed with an unbroken streak of bold and courageous governments.

There's only so many times you can claim that making the poorest foot the bill for government decisions is taking a "painful choice" before it becomes apparent that it is, in fact, simply a reflection of your political values.

It's great when individuals who work for broadcasting outlets that have shows like 'Ref Watch' and who focus so, so much of their match coverage on refereeing decisions start wondering why there is so much focus on referees and conclude that it is because of Mikel Arteta.
