I will treasure forever the roughly 35 seconds that I thought maybe John Rhys-Davies was the lead in the old Shōgun miniseries. I'm still gonna watch it someday if only for Mifune but it was becoming emergency viewing for a second there.

I'm watching some kind of How It's Made from 20 years ago on the DQ Blizzard and they real casually mentioned that the Blizzard Flavor Scientists will sometimes spend a year developing a new flavor and they really just let you do anything in the 00s.

I guess I just hope that the blasphemous trump image someday explains its lore. Why is the witch king of angmar in the clouds behind him? How did the flag lose roughly half its stars and is it related to the ship from Wing Commander being there?

As I realize I'd never considered where Polywhirl could even wear a tie, the last spark of prejudice leaves my body. A weight begins to lift from my shoulders as my gluten intolerance evaporates away forever.

From the start I've loved this podcast about liking cars when you're a kid and then feeling complicated about it now amidst a crumbling empire but for me this episode really takes it into special territory. Exploring the uncanny dissonance of leaving and returning to the US is so real

The Atlanta airport is full of pictures of Sofia Vergara kissing a sketchers shoe and now I fear I may be too far into the security line to get a picture of it so I can caption it "some of y'all"

So weird to play a 40 hour JRPG where the ultimate bad guy is a clown. It's like damn is he not taking this apocalyptic battle seriously enough or am I taking it too seriously? Like Kefka isn't right but like he is maybe reading the room correctly.

After months of speculation and discourse I'd like to once and for all confirm that Brendan Frasier DOES play Dreamcast in the movie Rental Family. May we all do such a thing soon with someone we love.

Hey girls. It's my birthday, it's new year's eve, but most importantly: it's buddy list day. For the fourth time, here's my annual tradition where I invite my friends to take up some space on my newsletter and talk about how they spent their year. Thanks for reading. 💜
