One of the reasons this style is around is due to its quick turnaround rate for animation. It's easier to animate, thus more episodes can be pumped out. The unfortunate part is that studios see this as the "safe" option, hence why it looks homogenized nowadays.

You see how homogenized these cartoons look and you understand why so many kids who cartoon fans are either exploring the old stuff or tuning into Spindlehorse and Glitch creations.

KPop Demon Hunters, Zootopia 2, and Little Amelie are all great though. I am excited to watch Arco whenever it gets a wide release. Neon needs to get better at distributing their animated movies, they pulled this shame shit with Robot Dreams.

I know i shouldn't care about awards shows, but Reze Arc getting snubbed hurts man. It wouldn't kill the Academy to watch 12 episodes in a day before watching the movie. heck, Reze Arc even works as a standalone movie. Lost in Starlight got snubbed too and that makes me sad :(
