So I delayed listening to the Halloween boxset so I could listen to Scream of the Daleks on Halloween. Unfortunately I didn’t have time, so had to listen to it today… but I’m so glad I did. I was never scared of the Daleks on tv, but the sound of hundreds of Daleks moving closer to the TARDIS…

7 just called a Dalek a “hate-filled shuttlecock” with a real emphasis on cock. I love McCoy.

I love how David Bradley puts so much work into playing the dithery old First Doctor, but Stephen Noonan seems to rock up and just chuck an occasional “hmm?” in and calls it a day. (No hate, his performance just doesn’t feel like the first doc, to me)

Whenever I listen to a 4th Doctor audio, I’m never sure if the writing is fire or if I’m just excited for more Tom Baker as the Doctor. He could probably make a 4 hour audio of his doctor trapped in a broom closet entertaining.

Listened to The Roof of the World, And when I encounter a story written by a writer whose name I don’t recognise, I look them up…. Well, I just fell down a rabbit hole of learning who Adrian Rigelsford is 😂

Really happy to hear this. This is great news! Is Doctor Who good under RTD2? No. Am I glad it’s carrying on, so we have a chance of potentially getting a good episode rather than absolutely nothing and a second wilderness years? Hell yeah.

I’m doing intermittent fasting (day 134 I believe) and my body simply has not adjusted to the time change. At 11 I start to get really hungry. Hoping it’ll adjust to it soon.

Listening to The Doomwood Curse on my morning walk. I got these audios over a decade ago, and loved them back then as well. Back then, my favourites were 6 and Charley and 8 and Lucy. It’s wonderful to be experiencing them both again!
