I am still in the hospital (had surgery May 29) and need another procedure, yay. I am being fed through IV nutrition. I feel so betrayed that I did not have right side specific pain to prompt me to get to the ER before my appendix burst. Missed appendicitis is not a fun time.

The surgeon who I spoke to in the ER who consulted on on the plan for my surgery and the one who did my surgery came up to talk messy my appendix blowing a sizeable hole in it. To tell me my body is not going back to its normal for 3-4 months. The appendix is a dirty little that should not exist. 🙃
