My least favorite thing about zoos is seeing local, native wild animals just being free on the sidewalk. Get out of here, dudes, you’re not canon to this exhibit.

This afternoon I took a walk around Alder Pond in Goodyear Park. Heard laughter echoes from other park hikers. Saw lots of turtles, a muskrat, and fish jumping.

Listening to birds sing really does soothe your brain. Here’s why.
Spending time in nature is important for your mental health. But studies show that even just listening to birds singing can ease symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Literally every time I call Akron 311 to report an issue they respond immediately with services from the appropriate department to remedy the issue. Sometimes they will even call me back with follow-ups. Also, literally every Akron rep has been super friendly and helpful.

This exchange is so very telling. Trump repeatedly claims the photoshopped MS-13 on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles is real, Terry Moran keeps telling him it isn't, prompting Trump to say this: "I never heard of you. I picked you. You’re not being very nice. He had MS-13 tattooed... Just say yes!"

Something else to consider: this highlights something that's already true: it's unconscionable dereliction of duty that House Democrats haven't introduced impeachment articles. That they would either be voted down or result in acquittal is immaterial. Do your job,

Do you get it yet, law firms? What’s happening isn’t an isolated threat to Paul Weiss or Covington or Perkins Coie. It’s an existential threat to the independence of the legal profession. You’re a fool if you think you won’t be next. Say something. Do something.

It isn't really Claude's "fault" here, since its search did come up with two of my posts, the most recent and then one I wrote back in December. It then uses that info as context for the answer. The issue is that the AI "trusts" the search result too much. Same issue with RAG in other use cases.

Claude now has a good version of web search, which is really useful, but it also has the same issue as all non-agentic (that is, not Deep Research) AI uses of web search or RAG, which is that the model only gets a small amount of context from search & then sometimes over-extrapolates based on that.

political laziness is dems nervously adjusting the dial to see how legacy media feels about their policy rather than actually going out and talking and listening to real people and taking them seriously because that would be work and wouldn't gain extrinsic approval from perceived authority figures
