For what it's worth, I'm very pleased with this one.

Deus Ex: Invisible War (2003). Resolving my ambivalence this playthrough — there are so many compelling notions and a rich ambiance also present in say DeLillo's Cosmopolis (2003) with their mutual anxieties of globalization, terrorism and ideology... but it's so self-sabotaged. In myriad ways.

Just to give an idea of how great he was: earlier this year, our elderly dog Scout became sick with Lymphoma. We put together a GoFundMe. Vince, who I barely knew, caught wind of our situation and donated 1K to help us meet our goal and get more time with our dog. Forever grateful for that kindness.

Vince was always kind and supportive, especially at the times when I was really on the ropes. RIP. And condolences to everyone who loved him.
