I have a lot of critiques of Rebirth. But one thing it does very well is better cement Tifa as the heart of this team. "one of the ways we grounded him in these scenes is to have Tifa close by."

I've been thinking a lot about these two games and why they both mean so much to me. A lot of contemporary games are dark and brooding. But OT2 and #Metaphor are injected with this uplifting optimism that makes them shine. They deal with very dark themes, but approach them with a sense of hope.

If Tencent takes over Ubisoft I'm completely checking out on their IPs. I've been a fan of Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Far Cry and more. I've even been a playtester for them a few times. Tencent ruins everything they touch not to mention the moral implications.

This moment was fucking stupid and I am tired of pretending it wasn't.

I just don't really like this type of game. I'll take my classic turn-based, 16-bit games with heart any day.
