Silksong has one of the worst boss run backs in history for one of the most agonizing bosses I’ve ever fought. I beat it last night, but I think a part of me died with that boss.

Going through Silksong it's pretty clear it was made by a dedicated and obsessive group of guys that were so used to playing their own game they forgot what it was like to be a normal person. I'm absolutely loving it but shits crazy. It's meaner than a Dark Souls game.

LRT: One of my favorite things to write is to pointedly make characters with incorrect world views, solely so I can figure out "how do they justify it" and "how do I SHATTER it"

expanding on this (sorry loam LOL) but imo making your characters be straight up wrong about something important will make you a better writer because you have to figure out WHY they feel that way and what makes them tick. you have to get inside their brain and roll around. it's so important.
