I don’t get a lot of matches, but I feel that the conclusion of “oh sorry I just liked your art” has happened enough times in a row that I can make jokes about it now 🤡 (the more attractive the person, the quicker it happens)

LRP I've said this before and I'll happily repeat - sure, most artists don't make art solely for attention, we make art to make art, but we still enjoy having some sort of human connection with people responding and commenting! I love comments, please comment, I share hoping people see and like it 🥺

I'll say it again, Art is communication. "Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.
