I’ve watched like… 28 seasons of #Sens hockey to know that they’re a great team. Sometimes, the uncontrollable percentages kill a season. The goaltending post-Anderson has been too big of a question mark to evade process-related criticisms that the fans have.

I’m worried about the pressure for perfection impacting the #Sens skaters long-term. Not good for the PK to feel like they have to be world-beating aggressive in order to kill a penalty; not good for the offence to feel like they *have* to score 6 goals a game to win.

PK stinks and Leevi let in another weak one.

Not only are the grade A chances going in the net, but total beach ball back breakers are going in on top of those. It’s maddening as a fan, and probably even more so for the players who are generally playing pretty well in front of their goaltenders.

I completely agree with this and it's terrible for anyone who wants to have an interesting opinion about the Sens. Can't just say we don't get saves, gotta also make it Brady Tkachuk's fault somehow.

Every team is going to give up chances (and grade A chances) but eventually you need a few grade A saves, and right now every one of those chances are ending up in the back of the net. Back breakers. It’s demoralizing. People will say these are excuses, but goaltending is 100% responsible for this

Really trying to take a HUGE step back here and look at the facts. Sens are BETTER than they were last year in most metrics. They are literally not getting ANY saves, and even on the PK (which is ranked poorly) it’s mainly a goaltending issue. Detroit and Utah this week were good examples

my only take on the sens' statement is the second this involved the players' families, they had to say something. same as the perry/bedard rumours. player speculation will always happen, bu their families are not public figures and deserve protection/defence.

I still refuse to believe this is what the Sens are. With even average goaltending they’re easily a playoff team. Problem is, it’s not looking like they’ll be in a position to get average goaltending for the foreseeable future.
