Went to get my mamo today and had to get a ultra sound too, that tech asked what I did I told her I was a librarian and today I got the wow surprised libraries haven't been made obsolete by technology. I'll be honest I haven't gotten that one in awhile.

We now have the details of the federal 2026 budget proposal, and it spells the end of IMLS. The request is $6,000,000 to "conduct an orderly closeout of IMLS." Whatever happens in the 2 court cases would be moot if this passes.
