Good news is the headache and sore throat are gone, but my legs of all things are still extremely sore and my feet keep going numb. The insides of my thigh specifically hurt like hell. I'm resting today and refusing to do any work, I haven't really had chance to rest and recover since getting home.

Starting an Insulin treatment has given me my appetite back that I had lost for a while. I ate all my dinner last night, all of it! I usually leave something on the plate but I didn't leave a scrap behind. Proud of myself for being able to eat again!

I may be home from hospital but I also came home with more than non-slip socks as a parting gift. Say hello to "sore throat" and "massive headache."

Sorry for not being around... I was in hospital last few days. First in High Dependency and then in a regular Ward. I found out the hard way (the scary way!) that my body doesn't make much Insulin and got DKA (Diabetic Ketone Acidosis.) I am now trying to figure out life as a Type 1 Diabetic.

I found a couple packages of air-dry clay when organising a box for the move. I've no clue when I bought them or what I was planning to do with them, but I can definitely think of some things I want to do with them once settled. I'm keeping the details to myself for now but I'm excited!

I made Pizza for the first time last night. Well, it was premade ingredients I put together lol so not exactly a from scratch meal. I intend to remedy that asap! This was a test to see how these ingredients work together and they work so well! Next time I'll add mushrooms and tomatoes.
