actually! i'm gonna glaze indie ttrpgs a bit more. You can tell more interesting stories with indie ttrpgs. One in particular, Endure, is the simplest system I have EVER used, and i told an AMAZING story that kept people engaged. It was a one shot. We played 3 more times after bc they WANTED to.

ok a little bit of a subtle post ... I just don't want to yap on the actual post. It's not hard to teach ttrpgs. It's hard to teach D&D because it's so overwhelmingly crunchy. There are a myriad of non d&d as well as indie rpgs that you can pick up in 15 minutes w no prior experience
