I can think of 2d6 games with consequences for overshooting on an attack (eg Apocalypse Keys, Navathem's End), but not a d20-style game with a hit zone!

Are there any ttRPGs that have a mechanic where you miss if you attack too high (or too low) compared to AC, aka the hit zone is a range, instead of a single number?

what system does epic high level fights better than D&D?

What is an identity of yours that you’d love to play at a #ttrpg table of all folks with that identity just to experience telling that story with people with that same underrepresented view? I’m talking, for example: an all-Desi table, an all-ace table, an all HOH table, etc.

What is the best #ttrpg system in your eyes for a no-holds-barred, throw down epic fight at high level with a legendary BBEG? In this case, I’m not talking about fights that can be won with words or soft action. I’m talking combat!

You who are gearing up for GenCon FOMO, if someone were to put on an online drop in drop out type of event online, what would you want to see for it?

I need to be deliberate about who I put my time into because some of the people I do, they just don’t put any back. I wonder if I gravitate towards those people so that I don’t have to experience being perceived and cared for.
