We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law. A new generation that renews the “we” in “we the people.” Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as part of its future.

Apparently Americans need to be reminded yet again that we have never suspended elections during a war. Lincoln was reelected during the Civil War (a large part of why we have absentee voting), FDR during WW2. It's never been true, and scaring folks with untrue things makes you not a good person.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

If you're going to drop into every post and reply "So what? Who's going to do something about it?", the answer is YOU. YOU are going to do something about it. YOU are the consequences. Stop waiting for someone else to save you.
