The version of the symbol in the article is James Cousinsâ âBritish Rail Internationalâ logo, which is better than the version below (trademarked back in 2021-ish) which had more blue; there is absolutely no reason to use anything but the unadulterated Rail Symbol 2 for Great (đ) British Railways

The Central Line stations between Wanstead-Newbury Park were officially opened OTD in 1947. Begun in the 30s, they were delayed due to WWII, with the designs revised due to lack of funds, material and manpower. They also represent the last stations designed by Charles Holden 1/6
