Went to Powell's last night and picked up two new books for my overflowing to-read shelves! Heard only great things about EVERYBODY KNOWS, and I am just really intrigued by STRANGE PICTURES -- and its author.

RUN HIDE FIGHT. A whole lot of folks trashed it, many sight unseen, for being in bad taste... but then praise rape/revenge movies or films made by problematic people. Exploitation cinema is supposed to cross lines while "entertaining," and RHF is a solidly fun DIE HARD riff, full stop.
