As angry as people have been on this app about the USA men’s team, Instagram is exponentially more vocal about it and you know what? That’s the app the players use most so maybe the algorithm can provide a teaching moment

The only thing I'd add is that Kenny Albert and Eddie Olczyk had good calls during THIS game. The call they had during the Finland/Slovakia game was barely about that game and more about the US/Canada game that was upcoming, and I feel like it was a big disservice to both of those countries.

As I said on our watchalong -- and I'm guilty of ignoring this at times, too -- this type of argument implies that the goalie isn't part of "the team." Yeah, Canada's skaters outplayed the U.S. skaters. But the U.S. TEAM (including Hellebuyck) outplayed Team Canada. Because, you know, they won.
