Brind'Amour on Stankoven: “He gets a goal the other night and then just, I think, you just can take a breath and get back to just going to play and not worrying about, ‘I’ve got a score.’ It's amazing how that sometimes just triggers you to just keep playing.”

Brind'Amour on the jeers for Rantanen: "I've got no Ill will against him at all. But fans are going to do what they've got to do. I was surprised they kept it up. That was right to the end. So we have passionate fans."

Brind'Amour on the Ehlers-Aho-Svechnikov line: “They’re our big guns. They need to be on the score sheet, but they need to be looking like they can score. And that's been really, I think, evident.”

Brind'Amour on the team recapturing its game: “The bounces, things go your way a little bit. It also helps to have top-end guys back in your lineup. There's a bunch of things that kind of lead to that. And also, your goalie to be the best player helps to you.”

Miller on adjusting to playing with the Hurricanes: “I think I've been trying to round out my game here the last couple of weeks, and (it) feels like it's starting to come.

Miller on scoring two goals tonight: "I don't know. Shoot the puck, get lucky, I guess. I don't know."

Svech on Stankoven breaking out of his funk: "Especially scoring against his old team, you probably get the goose bumps and all that stuff. So, yeah, obviously it's fun to watch him today. He’s a great player, and he’s just got to keep going.”

Svechnikov called Rantanen an "amazing guy." Said it's fun to watch him, "but I love what the fans (were) doing as well."

More Svech: “I’m just trying to work hard and play my game. And obviously, we’re playing good as a line right now, and we’ve just got to continue that.”

Svechnikov asked if he's seeing the ice really well: "After four apples, probably. Before that, maybe not. So you tell me."

Svechnikov, who set up both of Miller's goals: “He’s obviously got the hockey sense and he knows where to be and where to (get) open. I just tried to look for the third one. I said to him, ‘Open up,’ but he didn’t.”

Stanknoven on scoring against the Stars: “I think anytime you can pot it against a team that trades you, it’s a great feeling, and I do have a lot of great friends over there. But once we're on the ice, it's go time, and I'm going to compete as hard as I can. So that's my mentality."

Stankoven on if getting goals in back-to-back games boosts his confidence: “It’s a long season. You’re gonna have ups and downs, and I'm still learning.

Stankoven: "I had a lot of energy and jump. I know I have that in my game, it just needs to become more consistent. I think we built off our win in New Jersey, so hopefully we’ll keep maintaining the good things."

Stankoven on if he's had a "Logan's better!" chant before: "Actually, I have. When I was playing in Kamloops with my junior team, when Bedard came to town. I think we beat them pretty handily, but the chants were going on there too. So that's actually pretty funny, kind of full circle moment."
