Today’s releases are starkly different but represent our approach to beer. Both utilise British ingredients throughout, from the malt to the hops and most importantly the ingredients used to flavour the finished beer; one commercially grown, the other foraged from the wild.

Vinyl Party This Saturday! This Saturday we welcome our eggsteemed colleague DJ Phil for a one off solo set where he'll be going back to back with himself spinning an eggclectic mix of all vinyl tunes from 5pm!

Gallery Night On Thursday March 19th we invite you to join us and Daniel Cox for an evening of art appreciation at the taproom. Daniel is a Manchester based fine artist exploring colour and texture to create evocative pieces that draw the eye, morph and change the longer you spend with them.

🌱🪏Seed & Plant Swap 🪏🌱 On Sunday the 29th of March, as the evenings suddenly get a little bit brighter a little bit later, we’ll be celebrating by getting together to share seeds, plants, tips, recipes and more over a delicious beverage or two throughout the day.

We're always experimenting with ingredients, flavours and methods that introduce complexity, depth and character to our beers and in this latest release we've taken a running dive into the deep end.

Mushroom For Improvement…? After a few months of prep. and planning, yesterday we began an exciting project with Fungall down at Forever Fields in Whalley Range.

We've teamed up with Holly Pickles and Magic Lantern Film Club and we invite you to an evening at the "Balance Bistro" on Wednesday the 10th of December. We’ll be serving up a French bistro style dinner to accompany a truly magnificant, animated film, Belleville Rendezvous by Sylvain Chomet.

🤫 Keep it quiet 🤫 Today we’re over at Silent Brew Co. and we’re brewing something outside our usual funky stuff…together we’ve come up with a recipe of all British malt and hops to create a Golden Rye Ale. The grist is actually quite similar to our Amber Saison, with Maris Otter, rye, Cara & wheat.

As summer begins to feel like a distant memory and the temperature starts to drop outside, we've got something that will most definitely warm you up and get you groovin'! We've got three beers in bottle and on draft showcasing different chillies grown locally by our pal John.

We've got a right event for you lot next Saturday at 5pm (27th September). A chilli tasting, chilli beer tasting and hot sauce tasting combined! It's limited to only 10 tickets and comes with a portion of hot cauli wings. Check it out on our website.

Last week we made the trip down to Worcester where we joined Charles Faram on a tour of the hop yards of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. These farms, often having been in families through generations, produce traditional and newer varieties of hop for the brewing requirements of the UK and beyond.
