🐐 Hail The Goat 🐐 Phwoar! What a night we had on Friday with Johnny from Holy Goat. An absolute behemoth of a lineup, each one unique, flavourful and of such high quality. We’re lucky to have Holy Goat in our lives.

We've teamed up with Holly Pickles and Magic Lantern Film Club and we invite you to an evening at the "Balance Bistro" on Wednesday the 10th of December. We’ll be serving up a French bistro style dinner to accompany a truly magnificant, animated film, Belleville Rendezvous by Sylvain Chomet.

🤫 Keep it quiet 🤫 Today we’re over at Silent Brew Co. and we’re brewing something outside our usual funky stuff…together we’ve come up with a recipe of all British malt and hops to create a Golden Rye Ale. The grist is actually quite similar to our Amber Saison, with Maris Otter, rye, Cara & wheat.

As summer begins to feel like a distant memory and the temperature starts to drop outside, we've got something that will most definitely warm you up and get you groovin'! We've got three beers in bottle and on draft showcasing different chillies grown locally by our pal John.

We've got a right event for you lot next Saturday at 5pm (27th September). A chilli tasting, chilli beer tasting and hot sauce tasting combined! It's limited to only 10 tickets and comes with a portion of hot cauli wings. Check it out on our website.

Last week we made the trip down to Worcester where we joined Charles Faram on a tour of the hop yards of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. These farms, often having been in families through generations, produce traditional and newer varieties of hop for the brewing requirements of the UK and beyond.

Clingstone 2023. This beer is a tribute to the beautiful flavour of the damson stone. Fruit pits often bring this fascinating marzipan character and damson stones are no exception. Giving 2023's damsons a second life, their character emphasises the vanilla overtones of the oak barrels.

A wonderful night last night for @manchestercider.bsky.social club. We presented seven of our own ciders from the 2023 harvest of Yarlington Mill and Chisel Jersey varieties. We had four barrel aged single variety offerings plus three blended ciders aged on hops, sage and elderflower respectively.

It's Little Earth Fest this week! It's going to be a bit emotional, after Little Earth announced that they are stopping brewing for the foreseeable. They have been such a big part of the mixed ferm scene over the last decade and we cannot wait to drink some of their fantastic beers this week.

It's the return of Block Party on 19th July! We're hosting Scatterlings who make the most delicious saisons, spot on for Summer supping. We've also got Gwafuvegan returning to dish up the best West African food. It's one of our favourite days in the calendar, come join us from midday 🍻

🥳 Birthday Blend 2024 is Out Now 🥳 Last year we offered a peek behind the curtain and a chance to blend the first of our annual Birthday Blends. We were joined by a wonderful group of folk for the day and we journeyed through barrels, hops and the blending process to come up with this beer.
