Checking our sugar readings🔍 Here’s Tim measuring the sugar level, known as a Brix reading, in our Falstaff apples. This is one of the key steps before harvesting. Once we’re happy with the reading, along with the fruit’s ripeness and flavour, we decide when it’s time to pick.

Our first-ever cider export🎉 Yesterday marked a big milestone: we exported our cider outside the UK for the very first time! Two pallets of kegs and cans are now on their way to an exciting new market we’ve been eager to enter for quite some time. Any guesses where it's going?

Memories of Rivington Farm Trip 2025 🚜 Last week, our cider was pouring alongside 40 of the top breweries from the UK and further afield at Rivington Farm Trip, set near Chorley. We had such an amazing time and the Rivington Brew Co team looked after us very well. 1/2

Sam is headed to Norway this weekend for the Bergen Bobler Nordic Cider Festival 🇳🇴 The theme of the festival is Cider and Sparkling Drinks, bringing together the best of apple and grape bubbles in one place. Sam will be joining a lineup of European cider and wine producers. 1/2

Blending our Night Bird cider 🍎 Here we are, getting 13,000L of Night Bird ready! Many components come together to make our Night Bird master blend (including juice from Cox, Falstaff, Jonagold and Bramley apples), which is then fermented to become our flagship cider.

The farm is absolutely stunning at the moment with (hopefully!) the right balance of sunshine and rain for a great vintage🌱 As you can see nature is thriving; here is a Meadow Brown butterfly on a thistle and some of the fabulous fruits and berries that can be spotted now.

Sam recently popped into Holy Mackerel in Battle, an excellent fish monger on the High Street🐟 Not only does Holy Mackerel specialise in sourcing their fish as responsibly, sustainably and locally as possible, but they also carry our cider! #CiderYes #DrinksGreatCider
