Time to introduce another of our Jean Nowell bursary recipients! Hiranthi Cook of Cidentro Cider House has been awarded their bursary to assist her journey in developing spirit based drinks made from cider and orchard fruits!

Over the next few weeks we'll be introducing the recipients of this years Jean Nowell Bursary. First up is Three Wells Cider!

Apples are so diverse, here's 20 apple blossom pics of our 153 varieties of apple. Masses of blossom, no major spring frosts, a lot of sun and barely any wind, meaning all pollinators are out and pollination is not a problem at all this year.

It’s #BritishCiderWeek apparently, given that ours won’t be ready for a good few weeks yet it seems appropriate to try someone else’s. This is the Manton Hollow Traditional Method 2022, and very good it is too. Dry but rich, sloe berries, bitterness, slightly sherbetty. #Cider @3ccpa.bsky.social

The deadline to buy tickets for CraftCon 2025 is tonight. I'm very grateful to my fellow organisers for planning the event. Attendance is up 43% since 2023, a huge rise. There will be more than 150 cider industry professionals meeting in Hereford next week. Make sure you are one of them!
