Reading a lot into 33 minutes of a USMNT friendly, but I think Pochettino is still a very good manager.

As an American, I’m so proud we are rejecting the meal wall out of what I can only assume are moral grounds (because we should be meat walling until they make us stop).

Trump has potentially ended free maritime trade, a literally world-changing development that, if it lasts, may do more damage than anything else he has done so far What a phenomenally, historically evil and incompetent failure The Republican Party is a party of failure, defeat, and idiocy

I thought Tudor would do a job and get us over the line so maybe my instinct for "Surely Dyche will figure it out" is misplaced.

Reports say Dyche clashed with Lange and Vinai during the interview when he demanded passing in the midfield. Spurs are considering relegation in order to prevent passing and technical ability from possibly infecting the squad, with concerns that the club may return to the dark days of 2016-2018.

Not to state the obvious, but it now makes a lot more sense why Vic has been poor the last few months. You don’t generally go from one of the best shotstoppers in the league to one of the worst at his age.

Convinced no one at Starbucks actually did any background research before throwing a $100 million at this guy. There are a ton of bad and lucky CEOs out there. Brian Niccol is one of them.

Starbucks’ $100 Million CEO Hasn’t Repeated Chipotle Stock Magic
When Starbucks Corp. landed Brian Niccol, the star CEO who fixed Chipotle and Taco Bell, to turn around its fortunes, it triggered a frenzy on Wall Street. The stock popped 20% in a matter of minutes ...

A lot of people with seemingly progressive politics are also incredibly susceptible to the same conspiratorial nonsense that infests much of the right. Not the woo-woo crystal anti-vax nature stuff, but a darker strain that is going to lead to bad outcomes if not addressed internally.

Look, is everything Lange’s fault? No, obviously not. But also, there’s a real chance Lange brought a new, terrifying curse onto Spurs that made all previous curses pale in comparison.

From the party of business comes the most chaotic and unpredictable business environment I have seen in nearly two decades. I cannot begin to describe how much time and effort has been wasted by businesses dealing with the fall out from decisions made by the current administration.

This is very good news for Spurs fans because: 1. The new sporting director is way more important than new manager 2. Lange is one of the most disastrous executives in Prem history 3. The order of operations indicates some level of competence 4. You can mostly ignore the De Zerbi links for now

Following smart people and hitting the repost button is a lot easier than coming up with new, original ways to say that Spurs suck, the manager is (still) bad, and Lange and Vinai should be fired.

broadly my opinion is that players matter a lot more than managers one of the biggest ways a manager can make a difference, then, especially in midseason, is by choosing the players well or poorly I dunno whether Igor Tudor's tactics are that bad but benching Xavi Simons he's gotta go

Tottenham Hotspur lacking creativity and failing to muster meaningful chances in a must-win game, only to pay the price? I guess that’s what happens when you build a squad that doesn’t have much more to offer than that!

I understand keeping him after Liverpool/Atleti, but honestly he has done a terrible job and likely will be replaced now that we have this mega-break. Lange and Vinai also need to be fired immediately.

Richarlison saved Everton from relegation, so I can only assume Spurs will be battling for European positions in a few years under a beloved former manager.

Gray’s non-linear upward development the past two seasons gives me a lot of hope that he may break out next year. He’s been a lot better post-Frank (not a shock). He needs to start every week and that will be harder without Europe, but he could become great.

Couldn’t watch the match but from the sound of it Spurs listened to my request. I might be feeling optimist for the first time since August. Pretty clear the players are not checked out and Tudor tweaking his formation has helped a lot.
