Pleased to share that an article by @sophiademue.bsky.social and me on a medieval introduction to the Gospels and Canons has been accepted by the Journal of Eastern Christian Studies. The title and abstract are enclosed in the screenshot.

There is a scribal feature common to several religious traditions - to write the name of the devil/shaytan/diyablos upside down. I mentioned this for the Ethiopian&Eritrean tradition in my PhD thesis - here its ዲያብሎስ - Diyablos
