But now I've just been living for myself. Sure I still have to act masc 24/7 to my transphobic, Trump voting family. Sure I still don't have much to my name. But at least I don't have to burden others. Or be a burden even when I try to help. Rediscovering who I am is. Nice. For a change.

I've been reflecting on this malaise I've felt for 8 months now. I think I got the words now. I thought I was useful. Thought that I finally found a group that saw my worth, something I've always wanted. ... I now realize I was a tool. ... wish I still was of use.

I just wanted a world where my more communal love. Love of the game and of the spirit of bonds. Was rewarded. With a world that does love. Obviously. I'm too jaded for that now.

I loved the few people I've interacted with. Each and everyone. But not only do I cry- knowing I forgot their names, faces, voices... I cry knowing that even if we do meet up again, just as with the ship of Theseus... the person I remember is metaphorically dead.

The great grief and irony Of only having friends online Friends you trust them knowing who you really are Is that I forget so many friends... and remember so many enemies. To a point that I'd wish to drill out my memories. So that maybe, I can ignore the canyon my tears bore into.

So TikTok took me through a rabbit hole. Showed me that two "friends" of mine had a massive conflict a month ago. And I don't know. What to think. I didn't know, I'm aggressive when it comes to doing anything I think would help my friends. I know that. And that's why I was left out. +
