The thing about trans healthcare is that it works.. Trans people ARE actually the gender they say they are. This is why social and medical transition is a thing. If you'd transition but you're not actually trans, you'd induce the mismatch we feel constantly and understand our struggles.

It’s crazy how as a trans woman I’m just expected to “debate” my existence and validity as a woman, while governments criminalise our healthcare. There is no nuance to be had when the media and politicians want us dead, but I’m supposed to convince every transphobe of my position.

Accepting trans women as women doesn’t take anything away from cis women. It does not invalidate their womanhood or struggles. It does not invalidate what women have been fighting for. Quite the contrary actually.. it empowers ALL women while transphobia harms us ALL.
