You know the anxiety you feel when you are committing a small crime, like you think you parked 13 feet away from a hydrant instead of the required 15 feet? Man, these guys in the Epstein files have none that.

Trump's tariffs are hurting us in two ways: First, the obvious: Higher costs ā either lower profits or higher prices. Second, more subtle (perhaps bigger): Weāve signaled weāre an unreliable partner, so allies are reorganizing supply chains to avoid us. That's hard to unwind.

Even the most repressive states are careful to maintain the pretense of legitimacy. If you get censored it's because you're a foreign agent or a criminal or a sexual deviant who's menacing society. Not because you hurt the Leader's feelings. That looks weak.

When an AAA video game launches in the future, how will AI tell us whether it is good or not? Will it wait until someone posts a review, then scoop it and regurgitate? Will it make something up based on the marketing and other pattern matching? Will it play the game and tell us what it thinks?
