I think one of the hardest parts of divorce is learning to love yourself and the independence that follows. Like…the nights that you go out alone; with no friends there. It can be crushingly lonely, but at the same time, going where the wind takes you is freeing.

dudes, if y’all haven’t been to therapy before, i highly suggest it. i would’ve completely self destructed (more than i already have) without the help and guidance from a professional. highly recommend it.

So. We had our big ol’ stinky dog Bo pass away in October rather traumatically. He was about 12 years old and my best friend. We’ve started looking for a new dog to bring into our family…and I’m 99% sure I found her. Just waiting to hear back from the rescue. I’m obsessed with her.
