The first thing you need to do if you want to be an ally to trans people is realize that transphobia is an almost entirely socially acceptable form of bigotry, to the point that even seeing it AS bigotry is controversial almost everywhere.

It can be hidden, joked about, and used to gaslight trans people and seen as the "normal way" to do things. And for us to speak up, or out, about it is unnatural. It's like the cis are doing us a favour by letting us exist within their world. How *nice* of them.

Submitted a short story of dark fantasy/trans body horror ("I'd rather be a monster than the shell of a pretty girl" kinda thing) and working on a "resurrected my ex from the dead because I'm afraid of being alone" (make it aroace) story as well

Went to a different nurse than usual for my T shot and forgot to tell him I have 1/3 of a dose and I think he did the full dose we'll see what happens now 🤪
