New studio, who dis? All moved into my new space. Old space is officially done and cleaned out. Feels very nice to get settled in my new separate and private home studio. Even when the world is burning, this feels nice.

After four months of work, everything is moved into the new studio. Still lots of stuff to do including finishing painting the ceiling, ha, but the bulk of everything is done, thankfully. Feel like I can breathe a little now.

I put up a pdf files of 8 protest images as a digital download on my shop for just 5 bucks for anyone who wants them. They’re for personal use of protest in whatever form.

What will my first painting be in my new studio???? We shall see. Still got a lot of work to do to do, paint to finished and stuff to move and organize but I’ve at least got all the basics in here so I can start painting again which is really exciting!

All the main stuff is done thankfully. I started painting the walls tonight. I’ve that’s done I just have to clean up and put a sealer in the floors and I can start moving in. So this coming week I’ll be getting comfortable in my new home studio. Finally!

Preorders on my new book “Gay Dreaming Volume 2” are now up and running. Aiming to have the books ship out in 6 to 8 weeks!

Well we have electricity in the studio now! We have lights, we have the mini split (heating and cooling) and the closet built out. Still some mud work to do on the drywall, touch up’s and clean up, plus trim. Paint and closet doors but getting MUCH closer to moving in. Today was an exciting day!

I went to a resort to use a private hot spring, mineral bath. After soaking off and on for a couple hours I noticed a storm was rolling in and snow was expected so I came back home already. Ha. Was worth it though even if I didn’t sleep in the bed I paid for.

What I just sent to a client as th proposed finished commission. Hope they like it.

More work in progress on this commission. It’s been slow going with the studio upheaval but made some progress today.

Electrical and insulation are in. Drywall starts tomorrow. They still have to run the electrical to the actual studio but all the sockets, switches, and junction boxes are in place. Getting there!

Was a pleasure meeting you and I’m glad you were able to make it to the opening. Was a fun night.

Electrical work starts tomorrow. Just getting some basics in place. Will go in full force after Christmas. Looking forward to getting my new studio all finished and getting moved in. Got all my tools out into the shed and a bench set up this weekend. It’s getting there, slowly but surely.

I’ll be honest that the first couple episodes of Heated Rivalry didn’t do much for me. Felt immature and pretty toxic in how they treated each other but these last few episodes got much better. This latest episode 5 was really beautifully done with some very touching moments.

I’ve been working hard to try and tell my story. Figuring out how to present it in small bite sized and palatable ways. Bear with me.

The structure and exterior of both the new art studio and shed are complete. Hopefully interior work on the studio will start in the next few weeks. Really kicking off at the beginning of January and getting it all finished. Excited to get it finished and get moved in!

Added a handful of new charity prints to my shop. 100% of the proceeds are split between CasaQ and Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico.

I think there is a bit of a theme to my favorite movies of 2025.
