For my bday today I’m releasing this original painting and open edition prints of it. Pride 2026. Prints will be available at my Pride booth here in Albuquerque in a few weeks as well.

Drove up to Canyon De Chelly for 2 days. Hung out with an old friend, saw the sights, got stories and a tour into the canyon, laid around and worked on some music at night, and then caught up on some of my Gay film festival screening movies. Lovely couple of days. Back home first thing tomorrow.

This is the piece I’ll be offering up for Pride this year. Will start taking online orders this Friday as well as selling the original piece, and then at my pride booth I have a bunch of these and my books available. Hoping that will be good for the event. Trying to keep things simple.

I’ve signed up to have a booth at pride this year in Albuquerque as well as a booth at the gay rodeo in Santa Fe. Will be releasing a special pride 2025 print that will be a signed open edition available this Friday on my birthday and through the month of June only. Wish me luck!

Back from Taos yesterday, back to work today.

For the last several months I’ve been making and experimenting with music after 30 years of being away from it. It’s been a joyful and thought provoking experience for me. I just put up a small 6 song album up on Bandcamp if you’re curious. anthonyhurd.bandcamp.com/album/delive...

Tomorrow will be the last day for most of my current open editions as I’ll be retiring about 90% of them and adding a new and smaller selection on May 1st. So if you e been eyeing something specific now is a good time to grab it.

“ARROYO SECO” a quick little 10x12” study while here in the area.

I’m up in Taos for a few days and this is part of the view from the front window of the living room. I don’t know how people live like this. I’d never get anything done. I’d just starve to death sitting at the window not wanting to miss a thing.

A little more work on this for my summer solo. Off to Taos tomorrow for a few days. Always an inspiring place to sketch and come up with new ideas. Not to mention just relax and get some good rest in.

Realizing I’ve been slowly and steadily being less and less myself these last few years and I’m tired of it. I’m not for everyone, never will be, so why try so hard to be more palatable? Won’t mean much for my social media life but real world Anthony is going to be different. lol

Diving into all the work for my solo show this August at the Museum of Art and History in Lancaster CA with Thinkspace Projects. Have spent the last couple months prepping panels and planning out the work for the show, now it’s go time. 48x36” acrylic in wood panels.
