think i did just under 1.5k in the #Dogwood2 rewrite today, and there are like 8 scenes left. (my "10k remaining" estimate might have been a little low but not by much.) the Kenzie/pony reunion went way more smoothly than the Owen/wesley reunion.

Rowan uses live shields like his kelpie and Wesley; he panics in a real fight. Wesley's actually pretty good at hand-to-hand but he has no honor. Only Ash stands a chance against him 1-1. Owen simply does not feel pain in a fight. Kenzie would prefer a shoot-out, surprise attack, or ambush.
