I love Bruce Springsteen.

Tracks 2 was an interesting artifact, Nebraska 82 is just an absolute delight.

Losing Kind obviously shares a lot of DNA with Highway Patolman, but it also shares a lot with Highway 29, which in my mind is one of Springsteen’s most underrated songs.

On a holiday road trip we entertained ourselves by selecting the “best” song for every state. I didn’t want to be too tiresome, so I only suggested Springsteen on those states we were having trouble with - Utah, Nebraska, South Dakota, etc. I did not even nominate him for the bigger … 1/3

I've been a rock roller all my life. I knew who Stevie Van Zandt was, but until I watched this doc, I realize I didn't know who Little Steven really is. What an amazing man.

I know he is busy being a pundit on MSNBC and such, but we could use him here!

When it comes to #Springsteen Christmas songs, most people like Santa Claus is Coming to Town or Merry Christmas Baby. But for my money, the best Bruce holiday song is this version of Blue Christmas, performed live at the old Carousel building in Asbury Park. This song needs more love. 🎸🎷🎄

My younger kid is on the other side of the world & texted this week to tell me they’d heard the Springsteen version of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” in a cafe. They said “I seemed to be the only one who knew even the spoken intro.” It felt good that they had that touch of home while far away.
