THIS!!!! The country is split and fighting itself. Governments ruling with minority support only add fuel to that discontent. The world has moved on, Labour policy needs to catch up! If Reform sweeps to power with a 30% vote share we only have ourselves to blame. Talk is cheap, action now!

The turnout in local elections. Newmarket usually returns Conservative councillors but if people genuinely believed that councillors had any powers and knew what they stand for I don’t believe they would have elected a Reform candidate. More than 70% of voters clearly didn’t want to.

5 parties on more than 12%, winner gains seat with under 30%. Results like this used to be rare, freak outliers. Now they are routine (there was a second just like this yesterday). Electoral chaos.

Our immigration policy needs to be firm and consistent but it also needs to be humane. Splitting up families and reneging on our longstanding commitments to previous dominions is not consistent with our values or human rights.
