kindly came to the event & it was great to hear about life as an MP > He arranged a tour of the Houses of Parliament (no photos allowed in most of it!) & we spent a while in the House of Commons public gallery watching some of the debates..

Some of my colleagues and I had a great dinner last night with Elizabeth Smith and, not pictured, exiled Russian dissidents. The people we met had to flee their homes to get away from Putin’s regime, but remain under threat.
