My advice for emerging artists and pros alike: it’s time for in person events. The industry and community is scattered and algorithms are currently siloing us off. Go to cons, festivals, screenings + launches, and other art events. While social media is still shifting, invest in face to face.

I'm struggling to even find a job in the retail industry on the meantime, all my previous experience was working on VR projects, not a ton of skills are transferable to this sector, I'm kind of doomed right now :')

I know I don't have much reach here, but I need to try. I'm urgently looking for a job as an Environment Artist, Prop Artist, or 3D Generalist. I'm open to roles in the UK or the Netherlands. My visa in the UK is about to expire, so I may need to move back to the Netherlands soon.

I'm also proficient at making shaders as shown in my Shotgun project! I like doing geometry nodes and other node based stuff as well.
